Rush Order Terms

Last updated: 6 October 2026

Please read these before placing a rush order.

Rush orders get selected products branded fast. To make that possible, rush orders are branded in a fixed way and go straight into production, so they come with rules that standard orders do not. These terms apply to every rush order together with our Terms of Service. Where the two differ, these terms apply.

1. Which products qualify

  • Only products marked Rush on our website qualify. You can see them all on our Rush Orders page.
  • Each rush product has a minimum and a maximum quantity per order, which we confirm on your quote. Quantities outside that range are standard orders.
  • Products in the same order that are not rush products follow our standard lead times.
  • Rush orders are placed through a quote. Ask for rush when you request your quote or contact us, and your quote confirms which items qualify.

2. Cut-off times and when your order is ready

Your rush order is ready at Brandful 2 working days after it counts as received. It counts as received once we have all three of these before the cut-off:

  • your order,
  • proof of full payment (see section 5), and
  • artwork that meets section 3.

The cut-off is 2pm Monday to Thursday and 10am on Friday. Anything received after the cut-off, on a weekend or on a public holiday counts as received on the next working day.

  • Working days are Monday to Friday, except South African public holidays.
  • Rush orders are not available while our branding partner is closed over the December and January holidays. Contact us for the dates.
  • “Ready at Brandful” means ready to collect from our Johannesburg office, or handed to the courier, by 5pm that day. Courier delivery takes extra time depending on where it is going, and we cannot guarantee courier times.

3. Artwork

  • Send your logo with your order, as vector artwork in one of these formats: Adobe Illustrator (.ai), CorelDRAW (.cdr) or an editable vector PDF. A picture (such as a JPG or PNG) saved into one of these formats is not vector artwork.
  • For screen and pad printing, tell us the Pantone colours you need.
  • For full-colour digital branding, supply the artwork in CMYK colours.
  • Remove fine detail and small text that could fill in when branded. Text must be at least this high on the product:
Branding methodSmallest text
Pad printing1 mm high
Digital printing1 mm high
Laser engraving1 mm high
Screen printing2 mm high

We do not redraw or change logos for rush orders. If your artwork does not meet these requirements, we will tell you, and your order becomes a standard order with standard lead times.

4. No layout, fixed branding position

  • To make the turnaround possible, there is no layout or proof to approve on a rush order.
  • Your logo is branded as large as the rush branding area allows, centred, in the product's rush branding position. Rush branding areas can be different from the product's standard branding areas, so ask us for the product's rush branding guide if you want to see it first.
  • If you need a particular size, position or more than one position, please place a standard order, where we prepare a layout for you to approve.

5. Payment and rush fee

  • Rush orders are paid in full upfront. We need proof of payment before the cut-off. If your payment reaches us after the cut-off, your order counts as received on the next working day.
  • Any rush fee is shown on your quote and confirmed before you pay.

6. No changes or cancellations

Once we have your payment and artwork, your order goes straight into production. It cannot be changed, cancelled or refunded after that. Please check the product, colour, quantity and artwork carefully before you pay.

7. Stay reachable on the day

Give us a phone number and email address we can reach you on until 9pm on the day your order counts as received. If there is a problem with your artwork and we cannot reach you to sort it out that day, your order becomes a standard order with standard lead times.

8. Branding results

  • Because there is no layout, we cannot accept rejections or reprint an order because fine detail or small text filled in, or because of the size or position of a logo branded as these terms describe.
  • Faulty or damaged goods are handled under the Returns and Refunds section of our Terms of Service.

9. If something outside our control goes wrong

If a product sells out after you order, or production or a courier is delayed for reasons outside our control, we will tell you as soon as we know and offer you another product, a later date, or a refund for anything we cannot supply.
